- Drafting techniques (We do all drawings by hand, not CAD).
Space Planning Review
Monday, May 24, 2010 10am-5pm
- In-depth look at societal trends and ergonomics including proper spatial requirements of Living Rooms, Dining Rooms, Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Kitchens
- Universal Design and its application to Kitchens and Baths will be touched upon in this section.
Rendering Techniques
Monday, May 31, 2010 10am-5pm
- Learn artistic rendering techniques to create accurate depictions of your design concepts for your clients. We will explore the use of water color, colored pencils and design markers.
- It is not necessary to have any artistic ability to take this course and learn the techniques. However, students should have a solid understanding of drawing floor plans and elevations to scale prior to taking this class.
- A homework assignment will be given and should be brought to the Presentation Techniques class the following week.
Presentation Techniques
Monday, June 7, 2010 10am-5pm
- Students will take the project they completed in Rendering Techniques and will create a board presentation using the techniques demonstrated in class. (Materials and supplies will be provided for classroom use).
